Why Choose Us

What Makes Unity Community Care Different

We don't just deliver services — we build genuine relationships and walk alongside you on your journey.

Truly Person-Centred

Your goals, your choices, your support. We build every care plan around what matters most to you — not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Consistent, Matched Support Workers

Culturally Safe & Inclusive

We celebrate diversity. Our team is trained to provide culturally safe, inclusive support that respects your background, values, and identity.

Inclusion & Belonging

Supporting Diverse Communities

We are committed to delivering inclusive, culturally responsive, and person-centred support to people from all backgrounds. Diversity is celebrated. Individuality is respected. Everyone is welcome.

Culturally & Linguistically Diverse (CALD)

We proudly support participants from CALD communities, respecting each individual's culture, language, faith, values, and personal experiences. Many of our workers speak languages other than English.

Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples

We recognise and respect the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of First Nations peoples and are dedicated to providing services that are culturally safe, respectful, and empowering.

Our People

Our People Make the Difference

At Unity Community Care, we believe great support starts with great people. That's why we carefully select support workers who bring not only qualifications and experience, but also genuine compassion, understanding, and a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the people they support.

Our team consists of highly skilled support workers, experienced disability professionals, and registered nurses available around the clock. Many of our staff bring valuable lived experience, allowing them to connect with participants on a deeper level — grounded in empathy, understanding, and respect.

We match participants with support workers who suit their personality, goals, interests, culture, and communication style. We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Our diverse workforce reflects the communities we serve, with workers from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and languages.
